It’s a Michael Bublé sorta day! I’m not sure if I’m feeling nostalgic, or if I’m already getting homesick because I fly back to Chicago on Sunday, but Michael Bublé never fails to remind me of my father. “Quando Quando Quando” was the song we danced to for the father-daughter dance at my cotillion, and “Save the Last Dance for Me” was the song my court and I rehearsed the cha cha to. But the It’s Time album is probably my favorite of all his albums. If yah ever catch my dad on his headphones, ten bucks one of the nine Michael Bublé albums (7 mains and 2 Christmas albums) is bumpin’. Unfortunately, he goes on an international Crazy Love tour this spring and won’t be in the states :( Boohoohoo.
Idk why, but I’m having a harder time leaving home now than most times. I don’t usually get homesick, but I feel like I might this time, and I haven’t even left yet! Despite the amount of “parental bonding” time I had, I wish I had more, sisterly bonding too. This break went by too fast, but I’m grateful for the time spent here with my family and friends. <3 Dos días más, making them count big time!
